when we were assigned the task of conducting a technological analysis within a business context. With a plethora of technologies to choose from, including blockchain, virtual reality (VR), 5G, and AR, we found ourselves at a crossroads. After thorough deliberation, we decided to hone in on AR due to its relatively uncharted territory and the exciting potential it offered for innovative applications.

One of our team members, Aaron van Rijn, had a unique connection to Tobroco, a company that had previously expressed interest in AR. This connection fueled our motivation as we initiated contact with various companies, including Tobroco, to set up appointments.

The dive into desk research: Tuesday was dedicated to

intensive desk research on AR and its potential implementations in a production-centric company like Tobroco. Simultaneously, we continued to reach out to other companies, successfully securing appointments with Tobroco and DutchRoseMedia, a specialized AR technology firm. As the day unfolded, we diligently documented our progress by creating and updating our blog.

Wednesday:

exploring AR with a new perspective: Wednesday saw us taking our

research to the next level. Armed with PBOI glasses, we immersed ourselves in the world of AR. The day was dedicated to formulating sub-questions and beginning to answer them. Meanwhile, preparations for our upcoming meetings with Tobroco and DutchRoseMedia were in full swing. We also brainstormed our approach for the presentation and blog, aiming to extract valuable insights from these meetings to provide comprehensive analyses and, potentially, recommendations for Tobroco. DutchRoseMedia was expected to offer invaluable insights into AR and the latest technological trends in the field.

Gathering insights and refining questions: Thursday

marked the continuation of our efforts. We delved deeper into refining our sub-questions and the main research question. The scheduled meetings with Tobroco and DutchRoseMedia were crucial, as the information we gathered would be integrated into our blog. This data was pivotal in gaining profound insights into the changes that organizations may anticipate or need to implement when embracing technological advancements.

Additionally, we made significant progress in preparing our presentation, with the sub-questions nearing completion. Friday would be dedicated to adding the final touches and extensive rehearsals.

Friday:

Preparing fort he grand presentation: As the week reached its climax,

we decided to meet early on Friday to discuss our presentation. Given the added complexity of delivering it in English, we wisely opted to rehearse multiple times together. This not only helped us refine our language skills but also allowed us to make last-minute adjustments to ensure our readiness for the presentation.

In a collaborative spirit, we chose to present as a team of four, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to contribute their unique insights. This approach also enabled us to hone our English presentation skills collectively. During our presentation, we took on the role of evaluators as well, assessing the presentations of other groups. We were pleasantly surprised by the diverse range of intriguing technologies and the well-researched presentations that were showcased.

Our presentation was structured in a pyramid style, capturing the audience's attention from the outset. Augmented Reality took center stage as we elaborated on its potential applications and significance. To engage our audience, we introduced a Kahoot quiz, making our presentation interactive and educational.

One highlight was the inclusion of a physical safety helmet fitted with AR technology. This tangible example helped our audience visualize how AR could be integrated into real-world scenarios. After our presentation, we fielded questions on maintenance, data security, and safety.
